Marian E. Murphy

Marian E. Murphy, 75, of McArthur, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis. She was born September 25, 1933 in Muskingum County, daughter of the late Dale Harrop and Opal Fletcher Thompson. Marian was married to Frank Murphy Jr., who survives.

She was a Charter Member of the McArthur Eagles Ladies Auxiliary AERIE 2279.

In addition to her husband, Marian is survived by sons, Tony and Scott Murphy both of Hamden; a daughter, Kelly Terry Williams of Delaware, Ohio; two grandchildren, Matthew Brooke Williams and Jeremiah Williams all of Delaware, Ohio; two great grandchildren, Julianna and Owen Williams; two sisters, Patricia Wilson of Crooksville and Ottie Lloyd Kirker of Trenway, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 P.M. with a McArthur Eagles Ladies Auxiliary AERIE 2279 service being held at 7:30 P.M.
