Allen R. Mcmillin

Allen R. McMillin, 91, of Logan, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born May 19, 1917 in Hartford, West Virginia, son of the late Raymond S. and Ella Young McMillin. Allen was married to Jean Hiles McMillin, who survives. They were married for 69 years.

He retired from ODOT.

Allen is survived by one son, Allen R. McMillin Jr., of Logan and three sisters, Betty Truax of Columbus, Virginia Owen of Coshocton and Maxine Bond of Reynoldsburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald McMillin; a sister, Leona McMillin and his stepmother, Grace McMillin.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Monday, March 16, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Charles Fidler officiating. Entombment will be in New Fairview Mausoleum, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 12 noon until the time of the service.
