Edna Gertrude Wolfe

December 4, 1924 — March 15, 2009

Edna Gertrude Wolfe, 83, of Logan, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born December 4, 1925, in Hocking County, daughter of the late Sherman and Rose Hickenbottom Poling. Edna was the widow of the late Glenford F. Wolfe.

She is a 60 year member of Maxville United Methodist Church.

Edna is survived by sons, Erwin Lee Judy Wolfe and Arlen R. Marcie Wolfe both of Logan; eleven grandchildren, Kelly, Craig, Ryan and Josh Wolfe, Julie, Chad, Angie and Joel Wolfe, Mandy McGrath, Lacy and Shana Vincent; twenty-two great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Sue Williams of Logan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Poling and three sisters, Grace Ledford, Alice Holcomb and Wanda Poling.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, March 19, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Clarence Thompson and Rev. Steve Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
