Helen E. Davis

Helen E. Davis, 79, of Logan, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born March 16, 1930, in Hocking County, daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Schorr Davis.

She retired from Metal Powder as a specialties press operator.

Helen is survived by a daughter Joy Davis of Carroll; two brothers, Dwight Marie Davis of Cleveland and Loren Jane Davis of Springfield; sister-in-law, Marge Davis of Logan and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Earl Davis; an infant brother, Paul Emory Davis and an infant sister, Edna I. Davis.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, March 26, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Jim Mathias officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
