Grace I. Bolton

Grace I. Bolton, 89, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born May 4, 1919, in Vinton County, daughter of the late Grover and Eliza Mates Corbin. Grace was the widow of the late Earl C. Bolton, who passed away August 12, 2006. They were married on August 15, 1942.

Grace was a very loving and kind person.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Jerry Brooks of Zaleski; three grandchildren, Rick Cindy Brooks, Terri Brian Reedy and Mike Brenda Brooks all of McArthur; four great grandchildren, Jordy and Brandy Brooks and Megan and Marcie Reedy; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Nancy Bolton of Florida and two sisters-in-law, Gwen Bolton of Logan and Mary Delno McClure of Allensville.

In addition to her parent and husband, Grace was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Danielle Brooks; two brothers, Clyde and Harley Corbin and two sisters, Emma Tewksberry and Ruth Breckler.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Monday, April 6, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M.
