Stephanie Kay Mayes

Stephanie Kay Mayes, infant daughter of David Michael Mayes and Virginia ""Jen"" Lee M. Sears, passed away, Friday, April 10, 2009 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital.

In addition to her parents, Stephanie is survived by brothers, Christopher and Aiden Mayes of Richmond, Virginia; maternal grandparents, Andy and Helen Sears-Chaney; paternal grandparents, Dave and Donna Dicken; maternal great grandmother, Pam Lyall; paternal great grandfather, Don Mayes; aunts and uncles, April Lyons, Donald and Katie Gonzalez, Deanna and Seth Dicken, Ray Dicken, Bobby and Jamie Sears, Andrea and Darren Trippier, Michael and Jessie Chaney, Ashley and Steven Sears; many cousins; special friend and nurse at O'Bleness, Samantha Neal-Keith.

She was preceded in death by maternal great grandparents, Cliff and Mona Chaney; paternal great grandparents, Theta Mayes and Richard Bolin; Aunt, Judy Weaver; Aunt Kay and Uncle Allen.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Donald Lamb officiating. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
