Margery L. Heaney

Margery L. Heaney, 89, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1920, in Vinton County, daughter of the late George P. and Lenora Trainer Murdoch. Margery was the widow of the late Robert E. Heaney.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Barbara Lombard of London, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Shirley Murdoch of McArthur and Lelah Murdoch of Wellston; nephews, Larry, Randy and Mike Murdoch a niece, Peggy Murdoch and step grandchildren, Lisa Maurer, Debbie Lombard and Paul Lombard.

In addition to her parents and husband, Margery was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Vernon, Bayard and Paul Murdoch and two sisters, Doris Murdoch and Frances Murdoch.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M., Sunday, April 19, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 12 noon, until the time of the service.
