A. Charlotte Blake

A. Charlotte Blake, 82, of Logan, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home. She was born April 13, 1927, in Hocking County, daughter of the late Chester Earl and Sylvia Lucille Myrtle Blake Sr.

She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Logan and a fifty year member of the Women of the Moose.

Charlotte is survived by her favorite nephew, Frank Vickie Jamison; three nieces, Pam Wesley Hicks, Peggy Steve Shaw and Cindy Alan Downs; six great nieces and nephews and three great great nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special angels, a brother, Chester Blake Jr.; a sister, Ruth Thompson and brother-in-law, John Thompson.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Monday, April 27, 2009, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Monday, from 12 noon until the time of the service. No calling hour will be observed on Sunday.

The family suggests contributions be made in memory of A. Charlotte Blake to Immanuel United Methodist Church, 66 E. Hunter St., Logan.
