Effie A. Runkle

Effie A. Runkle, 96, of Logan, passed away Monday, April 27, 2009 at her residence. She was born June 27, 1912, in Scioto County, daughter of the late Carey and Dorothea Spears Arnold.

She retired as the owner of AAA Columbus Babysitting Agency and was a member of Turkey Run Mennonite Church.

Effie is survived by five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lois Mokros; a son, Kepler A. Runkle; a brother, M.K. Arnold; a sister, Annabelle Duncan and two grandsons, Michael Runkle and Wally Graf.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Turkey Run Mennonite Church, 5066 Twp Rd. 372, Logan, with Pastor Carl Wesselhoeft and Pastor Robert Fisher officiating. Interment will be in Turkey Run Mennonite Church Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, one hour prior to the services at the Church.

The family suggests contributions may be made to Turkey Run Mennonite Church, 5066 Twp Rd. 372, Logan, Ohio 43138.
