Charles Junior Atkinson

Charles Junior Atkinson, 75, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at his residence. He was born July 23, 1933 in Vinton County, son of the late Charles Atkinson and Geneva Wine Morrison.

Charles is survived by two brothers, Ira Morrison of McArthur and Arthur Donna Morrison of Wellston and a sister, Vernie Atkinson of Greenfield, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, David and Leonard Atkinson and two sisters, Flossie Atkinson and Rachel Morrison.

A memorial service will be held 2 P.M., Friday, May 15, 2009 at North Pleasant Valley Church, McArthur with Rev. Thomas Estep officiating. Cremation has taken place and private burial will be held in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, South Bloomingville.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
