Bruce Gene Sowers

Bruce Gene Sowers, 52, of McArthur, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009 in Columbus. He was born May 30, 1956 in Vinton County, son of the late Clarence Eugene and Wylodeen Atwood Sowers.

He retired from General Mills and was a member of the McArthur Eagles and VFW.

Bruce is survived by a daughter, Lena Joshua Burch of Columbus; two brothers, Larry Jane Sowers of Columbus and Mike Chasitiy Sowers of McArthur and a sister, Marsha Tony Haughn of Laurelville.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, May 23, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 6-8 P.M.
