Dian Warren Partlow

Dian Warren Partlow, 76, of McArthur, passed away, Friday, May 29, 2009 at her residence. She was born July 28, 1932 in Jackson County, daughter of the late Ralph and Grace Wright Warren. She was the widow of the late Marvin ""Pete"" Partlow who passed away November 18. 2002.

Dian was a retired school nurse with the Vinton County Local School District and was formerly a County Health Nurse and an EMT and paramedic. She was a graduate of the Mt. Carmel School of Nursing and held a Masters Degree in Counseling from Ohio University. She was a member of the McArthur United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Society, Eastern Star and Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, a professional honor society of women educators.

She is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Partlow of McArthur and Kelly Barnett of Wellston; three grandchildren, Camie Barnett of Chillicothe and Derek Barnett and Lacie Barnett both of Wellston and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble officiating. Interment will be at Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call Monday, June 1, 2009 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
