Sally Ann Scribner Smith

Sally Ann Scribner Smith, 61, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born July 31, 1947 in Batesville, Arkansas, daughter of the late Leroy A. and Phyllis Fannin Scribner.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and also a day care provider.

Sally was a member of the Logan Moose, Amvets and Eagles and received an associates degree in accounting from Hocking College.

She is survived by a special friend, Bud Dennis of Logan; sons, Michael Patricia Barrow of Logan, Donald Barrow Jr. of Logan and Christopher Wayne Angel Gore of Londonderry; daughters, Laura Michelle David Dalton, Tracy Fred Bowman, Bobbi J. Kennedy and Samantha Gail Souders all of Logan; twenty-one grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Ralph Homer Scribner of Albany, Leroy Alvin Scribner of Logan and Steven Jay Scribner of East Waterford, Pennsylvania and sisters, Sharon Lee Foss and Susette Mace both of Logan.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Sunday, June 6, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Barbara Harkless officiating. Entombment will be in Fairview Mausoleum, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 5-8 P.M. with Eagles services being held at 7 P.M.
