Donald E. Boals Sr.

Donald E. Boals Sr., 75, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. He was born January 7, 1934, in Hocking County, son of the late William Dowe and Nellie Millstead Boals.

He retired from Goodyear in Logan.

Donald is survived by sons, Jeff Paula Boals of Athens and Donald Boals Jr., of Nelsonville; daughters, Brenda Keith Carsey Tolliver of Carbon Hill and Tena Eddie Cavinee Boals of Nelsonville; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Boals of Nelsonville, William Boals of Nelsonville, Jerry Boals of Logan and Robert Boals of Newark and sisters, Carol Kasler of Athens, Linda Boals of Logan and Jean Still of Logan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Boals.

Funeral services will be held 11 A. M. Saturday, June 20, 2009 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Betty Brooks officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call Friday at the funeral home from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
