Clara E. Mcmanis

Clara E. McManis, 76, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, June 30, 2009 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home, Logan. She was born July 13, 1932, in Rockbridge, daughter of the late Everett and Clara Belle Wright Davidson.

Clara worked at several restaurants and retail establishments in Logan.

She is survived by sons, Marvin Hart and David Reid both of Logan; daughters, Patty Tom Skaggs of Nelsonville, Roxanne Hickman of Logan and Mary Russell Dennison of Lancaster; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and sisters, JoAnn Davidson of Lancasteer and Vivian Warfield of Lancaster.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Friday, July 3, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Malcolm Lanham officiating. Interment will be in Morgan Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.
