Denver Caudill

March 18, 1934 — July 2, 2009

Denver Caudill, 75, of Hamden, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born March 18, 1934, in Hollybush, Kentucky, son of the late Virgil and Dellie Johnson Caudill. Denver was married for 53 years to Sharon Rice Caudill, who survives.

He was a retired timber cutter, loved to take his dogs out to run rabbits and attended Maggie Home Church in Dundas.

Denver is survived by sons, Denver Russell Rhonda Caudill of Hamden, Charles Daniel Caudill of Hamden, Larry Arvin Lisa Caudill of McArthur and Corbett Aaron Jamie Caudill of Hamden; daughters, Cindy Ann Jerry Scarberry of McArthur, Kandy Sue Coleman of Hamden, Shari Lee Steve Bobb of Hamden, Mary Beth Frank Guthrie of Hamden and Helen Alice Kevin Douglas of Reynoldsburg; twenty grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Corbett Margaret Caudill of Jackson, D.H. Chris Caudill of Hamden, Jimmie Paul Caudill of Hamden, Harold Marianne Caudill of Lancaster and Robert ""Bo"" Debra Caudill of Hamden; sisters, Mary T.J. Bentley of McArthur, Ella Charles Rowland of Beavercreek, Junie Donald Oney of McArthur, Ruby David Booth of McArthur and Elberta Wayne Stewart of McArthur; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ed Rice of Wellston, Cheryl and Tom Gallagher of Jackson, Myrta Caudill of Hamden and Laura Caudill of Las Vegas; special friends, Yvonne Nice of New Plymouth, Frank McClaskey of McArthur and Glen Prater of Hamden and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Afton Wayne Scarberry and brothers, Afton, Arvin and Coshel Caudill.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, July 8, 2009 in Maggie Home Church, Dundas, with Elder Don Mullins, Elder Al Osborn and Elder Johnny Newsome officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the Caudill Family Home, 36051 SR 93, Hamden, on Tuesday from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. and on Wednesday, one hour prior to the services at the church.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
