Mary Louise Six

Mary Louise Six, 87, of Logan, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, Logan. She was born November 8, 1921 in Longstreth, daughter of the late Leroy and Anna Mae Marks Six.

She was retired from L.B. Price in Columbus.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Verne Carter; a granddaughter, Anita Carter; and a grandson, Tomas Sherri Carter all of Kingston; great grandchildren, Tabitha Carter of Kingston, Nathan Carter of Ft. Benning, Georgia and Jodelle Carter of Grove City; a great-great granddaughter, Kaylee Dawn; a sister, Esther Wilson of Logan; two nieces who were raised in the home, Glenda Bob Nihiser and Ruth Curley Sinnott both of Logan; four nephews she raised after they lost their parents, Terry Barb Six of Athens, Steve Janet Six of Rockbridge, Mike Debbie Six of Rockbridge and Randy Six of Logan as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Wilford and Roy Six.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Jim Vandergriff officiating. Interment will be at Knollwood Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
