Richard E. ""Dick"" Tucker, 63, of Logan, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009 at his residence. He was born October 10, 1945, in Athens, Ohio, son of the late George and Catherine Frost Tucker. Dick was married to Sue Ann Meachem Tucker, who survives.

He was a retired meat cutter from Kroger and Edgar's Super Thrift and a Vietnam Army Veteran. Dick enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Cleveland Indians with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Peter Dusti Stump Tucker of Nelsonville, Tony Tucker of Columbus, Matt Tucker of Nelsonville and Scott Cindy Earle of Lancaster; daughters, Kim Geoff Davis of Lancaster and Stephanie Earle of Logan; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Herb Tucker of Athens and his family pets, Brutus and Joey.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Tucker.

Dick's wishes were to be cremated and private services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests contributions be made in memory of Richard E. ""Dick"" Tucker to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
