Garnet A. Harmon

Garnet A. Harmon, 91, of Grove City, passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at Monterey Care Center in Grove City. She was born March 15, 1918, in Hocking County, daughter of the late William J. and Mary Clendenin Dixon.

Garnet is survived by a daughter, Sue Cheeseman of Nelsonville; a son, ""JP"" James Phillip Fields; grandchildren, Terry Cheeseman of Murray City, John Sara Cheeseman of Nelsonville, Kimberly Weeks of Columbus and Ginny Rob Thompson of Lancaster; thirteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl S. Dixon and Paul Dixon; half brothers, Robinson Dixon and Maurice Dixon and sisters, Ruth Brooker and Lucille Galentin.

Garnet has been cremated and no visitation or services will be held. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
