Peggy Jane Mingus Bailey

Peggy Jane Mingus Bailey 65 of Nelsonville passed away August 21, 2009 in Hickory Creek Nursing Home, The Plains. She was born September 1, 1943 in Athens County, daughter of the late William J. and Mary Ellen Ogg Mingus. She was the widow of the late Ronald Lee Bailey.

Peggy worked at the Inn at Hocking College and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nelsonville.

She is survived by a son Ronald Joseph Bailey of Nelsonville, a daughter Rebecca Jane Becky Bailey of Nelsonville, grandchildren AshleyLynn Nichole Bailey of Lancaster and Helen Renee Warren of Nelsonville. A brother Joe Mingus of Alaska, sisters Ruth E. Pinney of Logan Phyllis A. Mingus Pepin of Texas and Helen D. Frank of Nelsonville.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, Nelsonville
