Marilyn Kay Runkle

Marilyn Kay Runkle 70 of Londonderry passed away August 21, 2009 at her residence. She was born June 16, 1939 in Jackson, daughter of the late Grace Peyett Copas. Marilyn is married to Glen Runkle who survives.

Marilyn attended Calvery U.M. Church in Jackson.

She is survived by a son Levi Runkle III of Londonderry, daughters Ellen Kevin Clark of Jackson, Stacy Rodney Harper of Ray, and Teresa Eddie of Chillicothe. Grandchildren Jay Schwalbach, Darcus Barnett Kirby, Shawn Clark, Heather Scarberry, Guy Barnett, Zachariah Firestone, Ashley Firestone, 3 great grandchildren, brothers John L. Copas, Raymond Copas and a sister Donna Faye Humphries all of Jackson.

Marilyn was preceded in death by a sister Jean Rowland.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00PM Wednesday evening in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home 201 W. High St. McArthur with Pastor Ken Padgett officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8PM.
