Dr. Ann B. Pratt

Dr. Ann B. Pratt, 80, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 6, 1929 in Houston, Texas, daughter of the late William and Gladys Bogue Reilly. Ann was the widow of the late Richard Pratt.

She was a retired psychology professor at Capitol University in Columbus and a member of the McArthur Free Will Baptist Church.

Ann is survived by four grandchildren, Sheri Amburgey, Tiffaney Reffett, Rachel Reffett and Mitchel Reffett; five great grandchildren, Schylar, Ian, Camryn, Hailey and Little Mitch; a brother, Norman Reilly of Portal Way, Washington; a daughter-in-law, Annie Pelfrey Hill of McArthur and two stepdaughters, Cynthia Pratt and June Pratt.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Douglas O. Cornog and Clay Cornog and a sister Myrtle Radabaugh.

Ann's wishes were to be cremated. Private services will be held. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High Street, McArthur, from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, September 8, 2009.
