Mona W. Dozer, 89, of Kingston, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 7, 1920, in Vinton County, daughter of the late Walter Brooks and Bessie Brown Iles. Mona was the widow of the late Cledtis Henry Dozer.

Mona was a member of the High Street Church of Christ in Christian Union Church in Chillicothe.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Dozer of Kingston; a daughter, Connie Curtis Tillis of Kingston; three grandchildren, Deborah John Kloch of Kingston, Dwight Karissa Tillis of Kingston and James Dozer of Orient; two great grandchildren, Kaila and Karah Tillis; a brother-in-law, Everett Ratcliff of Circleville and a former daughter-in-law, Carolyn Dozer of Orient.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Harden and Freda Ratcliff.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, September 19, 2009 in the High Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, 477 N. High Street, Chillicothe with Rev. Richard Humble officiating. Interment will be in Otterbein Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the church on Friday, from 5-8 P.M and on Saturday, one hour prior to the services at the church.

The family suggests contributions be made in memory of Mona W. Dozer to your local Gideon Bible Organization.
