Evelyn Lucille Stump

Evelyn Lucille Stump, 76, of The Plains, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. She was born October 28, 1932, in Canton, daughter of the late Russell and Mary Phillips Adams. Evelyn was the widow of the late Paul J. Stump.

She is survived by a son, Russell Bev Stump of New Marshfield; daughters, Julie Les Champlin of The Plains and Debbie Woltz of Lancaster; grandchildren, Amy Frank Erb, Les and Corey Champlin, Chris and Steve Woltz, Paul and Richard Stump; several great grandchildren and sisters, Ellen Gene Workman of Logan and Edith Eggenschwiler of Canton.

In addition to her parent and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Harry Adams and sisters, Donna McHenry and Loretta Lyons.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, September 25, 2009 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 PM.
