Judy Lane Horn-Wood

Judy Lane Horn-Wood, 68, of Gibisonville, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Mt. Carmel East in Columbus. She was born March 5, 1941, in Logan, daughter of the late Jack Dixon and Opal Lillian Biggs Dixon Hiles. Judy was married to James E. Wood, who survives.

She was a retired registered nurse from Crestview Manor Nursing Home and worked at Old Mans Cave General Store.

Judy is survived by sons, Lucas A. Lynn Horn of Gibisonville and Larry A. Marcia Horn Jr. of Logan; grandchildren, Cameron, Kyle and Caden Horn of Gibisonville and Stacey Craig Boals of Logan; one great granddaughter, Delaney Boals of Logan; brothers, Jack Dixon of Florida, Vernie Karen Dixon, Denny Rose Hiles, Dave Hiles and Ted Hiles all of Logan and sisters, Bonnie Sheets, Shirley Hinerman and Sherry Larry Blosser all of Logan; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marggie Sheets and a special niece, Tina Ann Hiles and nephew, Donnie Hinerman.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, September 28, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan, with Elders Al and June Stretch officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Gibisonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Sunday, from 2-4 P.M and 6-8 P.M.

Casket bearers will be Cameron Horn, Kyle Horn, Caden Horn, Jeff Cottrill, Robert Vorhees, Donny Gill and Jody Warthman.
