Iva Allen Henderson

Iva Allen Henderson 95 of Ray passed away October 2, 2009 in Chillicothe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 30, 1914 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Miller Allen. Iva was the widow of the late George F. Henderson and a member of the Antioch Kelly Church.

She is survived by sons Elmer Norma Henderson of Ray, and Fred Janet Henderson of Gallipolis, daughters Mary Raymond Kruger of Londonderry, and Linda Joann Creighton Williams of Piketon, 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren, 7 Step Grandchildren and 13 Step Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband Iva was preceded in death by 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, Brothers Clarence, Ivan, Marvin, and Arthur Allen, and Sisters Mildred Phillips and Helen Minton.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday October 6, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 204 W. High St. McArthur, Ohio with Pastor Don Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8PM.
