Herbert Byron Hine Iii

Herbert Byron ""Herbie"" Hine III, 53, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at Dr. Hospital in Nelsonville. He was born April 4, 1956, in Columbus, son of Bertha Mash Hine of Buchtel and the late Herbert B. Hine Sr. Herbie was married to Cindy Russell Hine, who survives.

He worked in the maintenance department at Dr. Hospital of Nelsonville and Hocking College. Herbie attended Buchtel United Methodist Church.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by sons, Ryan Anna Hine of Nelsonville, Travis Amy Hine of Logan and Corey Hine of Nelsonville; stepsons, Christopher Mindie Downey of Nelsonville and Alex Taylor of the home; a daughter, Michele Enrique Juarez of Palmetto, Florida; stepmother, Audrey Hine of Buchtel; grandchildren, Emilio, Elizabeth, Diego, Jasmine, Ryan, Rachel, Evan, Tylor and Grace; brothers, Jim Mary Judy Doughty, Larry Doughty, Eddie Doughty, Randy Teresa Hine, Rick Christy Hine, Ronnie Mable Jenny Hine, Byron Jan Hine and Tony Hine and sisters, Christine Ace Monroe and Nola Robson.

Herbie was preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law, Harold Robson.
Friends may call at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville on Monday, October 12, 2009 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. Private services will be held with Rev. David Shoemaker officiating.
