Walter C. Mahon

Walter C. Mahon, 32, of Wilkesville, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at his residence. He was born June 7, 1977, in Gallipolis, son of Jerry Lee Mahon Sr. of Wilkesville and the late Elsie Brumfield Mahon.

Walter was an attorney and graduated from Appalachian School of Law.

He is survived by his sister, Samantha Larry Mahon-Cundiff of Wilkesville; grandparents, Goldie Herb Mahon of Ragland, West Virginia and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In addition to his mother, Walter was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lee Mahon Jr. and grandparents, Rebecca Evans Brumfield and Walter Brumfield.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the Old Regular Baptist of Sardis Church in Delbarton, West Virginia with Elder Billy Brumfield and Elder Brian Dillon officiating. Interment will be in Evans Cemetery, Mingo County, Delbarton, West Virginia. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 4-8 P.M. and on Tuesday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at the Old Regular Baptist of Sardis Church in Delbarton, West Virginia.
