Irene Lilian Hoskins

Irene Lilian Hoskins, 96, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away, Friday, October 16, 2009 at Logan Health Care Center. She was born February 28, 1913 in London England, the daughter of the late Sydney and Lilian Chapman Burrows. She was the widow of the late William Eugene Hoskins who passed away June 4, 1988.

She formerly attended the Nelsonville First United Methodist Church and the Lunch Bunch and was a member of the former English Club in Nelsonville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Sydney, Frank and Fred Burrows and sisters, Ethel Burrows and Winifred West.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 19, 2009 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
