William Joseph ""Bill"" ""Uncle Pumpkin"" Meadows, 60, of Logan, went to collect his robe and crown that he so rightfully deserved, Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born October 1, 1949, in Logan, son of the late Fred and Gladys May Manning Meadows. Bill was married to Regina Edwards Meadows, who survives.
He worked at the City of Logan Water Department as a water meter reader, graduated from Logan High School and received his associates degree from Columbus Business University.
Bill is survived by his wife; sister, Kay Ottie Opperman of Logan; a niece, Michelle Scott Ries of Marshallville; great nieces, Abigail and Madison Ries and his extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Link and Daisy Manning; a brother, Eddie Jarnigan and a niece, Alicia Walls.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Kenny Kidd officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Monday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
