Dwight Doug Spellman

Dwight Doug Spellman, 60, of McArthur, passed away Friday, November 6, 2009 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1949 in Columbus, son of the late Orville and Della Hill Spellman. Doug was married to Brenda Riffle Spellman, who survives.

He was a truck driver and attended Truth Church in Hamden.

In addition to his wife, Doug is survived by a daughter, Jaime Jason Fife of McArthur; a son, Sean Adam Beth Graves Spellman of McArthur; a grandson, Tyler Fife and two half brothers, Harvey Colegrove of McArthur and Robert Neil of Bartlow, Florida.

It was Doug's wishes to be cremated. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at a later date with Brother Jim Eberts officiating. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
