Robert T. Skeens

Robert T. Skeens, 67, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home in Logan. He was born September 20, 1942 in Jackson County, son of the late Oscar T. and Eilene K. Good Skeens. Robert was the widower of the late Doris McKinney Skeens.

He attended Grace Baptist Church in McArthur.

Robert is survived by his brothers, Jim Skeens and Raymond Skeens, both of Athens, Rick Skeens and Mike Skeens both of Creola, Steve Skeens of Mt. Pleasant and Garry Skeens of Dundas; sisters, Linda Griffy of Sabina and Jenny Wolfe of McArthur; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Friday, November 20, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
