Judith Hope Mcclure

Judith Hope McClure, 68, of Ray, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at her residence. She was born December 3, 1940, in Vinton County, daughter of the late Richard W. and Emma Jean Kennedy Nixon. Judith was the widow of the late Raymond D. ""Pete"" McClure.

She is survived by sons, Rex McClure of Oak Hill, David Ladonna McClure of Chillicothe, Christopher McClure of Ray and Douglas S. McClure of Richwood, Ohio; daughters, Tanya Downard of Ray and Shauna Randy Smith of McArthur; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren and sisters, Wanda Byers of Peebles, Karen Ross of Chillicothe and Billie Kemper of Chillicothe.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Christina and Carrie at Holzer Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, December 5, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Pastor Don Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 6-8 P.M.
