Roselene M. Warthman

Roselene M. Warthman, 88, of McArthur passed away Sunday, December 6, 2009. She was born July 4, 1921, in Allensville, daughter of the late Oren and Ollie Collins Patterson. Roselene was the widow of the late Arthur J. Warthman Jr. They were married July 1, 1940.

She is survived by a son, Steve Vesta Warthman of Fairborn; a daughter, Vicky Lynn Mike Schlosser of Albany; grandchildren, Scott Allen Warthman of Madison Heights, Michigan, Shawn Andrew Carrie Warthman of Avon Lake, Ohio and Benjamin Sarrah Schlosser of Wamsutter, Wyoming; great grandchildren, Trevor, Amber, Spencer and Carter Warthman; a brother, William Patterson of Reynoldsburg; a sister, Phyllis Joe Gibson of McArthur; sisters-in-law, Myrle Patterson of McArthur and Jeanann Warthman of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Millie and Byron Kohn.

In addition to her parents and husband, Roselene was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kelly Schlosser; two brothers, Lowell and Elmer Patterson and two sisters, Mildred Huff and Willo Acord.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, December 14, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Tom O'Brien officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Roselene M. Warthman to the Vinton County Senior Citizens Center, 31935 SR 93, McArthur, Ohio 45651.
