Clarence L. ""Tubby"" Davis, 78, of Madison Heights, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born February 20, 1931, in Willoughby, Ohio, son of the late David W. and Mildred Mae Buck Davis. Clarence was married to Mary Ellen Davis, who survives.
He retired as an electrician from Duquene Light after 34 years and was a member of IBEW, the American Legion and VFW.
Clarence is survived by sons, Clarence Davis Jr. of Florida, James Davis of Pennsylvania and Michael Davis of Pennsylvania; daughters, Lisa Davis of Florida and Kathy D'Eramo of Pennsylvania; stepchildren, Robert Busch of South Dakota, Raymond Busch of Pennsylvania, Judy Hagerty of Pennsylvania and Karen Bianchi of Michigan; several grandchildren; brothers, Charles H. Davis of N. Perry, Ohio, Paul A. Marty Davis of Nelsonville and Dean W. Carol Davis of Los Alamos, California and sisters, Mable L. Elmer Potter of Chillicothe, Ruby Hayden of Nelsonville and Jessie Campbell of Nelsonville.
In additition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Hubert, David R. and Ralph Davis.
Clarence has been cremated. A memorial service will be held 3 P.M., Sunday, December 13, 2009 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 1-3 P.M.
