Dorothy Bevard

Dorothy Bevard, 83, of Columbus, formerly of McArthur, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Regency Manor in Columbus. She was born June 22, 1926, in Gallia County, daughter of the late Dale and Bessie Oiler Spires. Dorothy was the widow of the late Raymond Bevard.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon; brothers, Raymond and Larry and sisters, Linda, Wilma Jean and Betty.

In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Jim and two sisters, Margaret Jane and Judy.

Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in Log Pile Cemetery, Vinton County. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
