Donald E. Anderson

Donald E. Anderson, 70, of Rockbridge, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born January 14, 1939 in Fairfield County, son of the late George Anderson and Minnie Featheroff. Donald was married to Josephine Kline Anderson who survives.

He retired from Lancaster Glass and was a member of Morgan Chapel United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a son, Rickie Pam Anderson of Marshall, Missouri; a sister, Christine Stump of Rockbridge; sister and brother-in-law, Marlene and Billy Sorrow and a caregiver, Tina Bridges.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Bobby and Richard.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, December 24, 2009 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Margerite McGrady officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
