Rita E. Hensler

Rita E. Hensler, 85, of Wellston, passed away January 3, 2010 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home in Wellston. She was born May 4, 1924, in Radcliff, Ohio, daughter of the late Andrew J. ""Joe"" and Bessie E. Molihan Hagerty. Rita was married to Robert M. Hensler, who survives.

She was a former real estate agent and a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Wellston.

Rita is survived by her husband, a son, Joseph E. Allison Hensler of Wellston; three grandchildren, Robert, Ryan and Carrie Hensler; three brothers, Jack Alice Hagerty of Radcliff, Dick Dorothy Hagerty of Chillicothe and Eddie Jo Ellen Hagerty of McArthur; three sisters, Dorothy George Booth of McArthur, Margie Taborn of Hamden and Carolyn Roger Dye of Grove City and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Donnie, Joe, Bob and Harold Hagerty.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Father Donald Maroon officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home hour prior to the service.
