Mary Ann Jarvis

Mary Ann Jarvis, 62, of Logan, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at Logan Health Care Center in Logan. She was born December 23, 1947, in Columbus, daughter of the late Joseph M. and Virginia Flood Smith. Mary was married to Jack Lee Jarvis of Logan, who survives.

She worked for Mature Services in Logan, a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Seffner, Florida and was a supporter of the Cancer Support Group in Logan.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by sons, Robb Juli Burris of Bexley and Jeff Theresa Jarvis of Obetz; stepdaughter, Shelly Steve Chain of Leesburg, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; a brother, James Joseph Smith of Reynoldsburg; an uncle, Tom Smith of Lancaster and an aunt, Rosemary Flood of Michigan.

She was preceded in death a daughter, Nicole Andrea Burris and a brother, Dick Smith.

Mary's wish was to be cremated. A memorial service will be held 6 P.M., Thursday, January 7, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
