Harold William Bill Sanders

Harold William ""Bill"" Sanders, 81, of Glouster, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home in Coolville. He was born March 7, 1928 in Millfield, son of the late Fred J. and Mabel McPeak Sanders. Bill was married for 62 years to Opal Myers Sanders, who survives.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Lydia Ken McLean of Athens, Lawrence Steve Meaney Green of Columbus and Stephanie Tim Campbell Green of Nelsonville; ten great grandchildren; son-in-law, Edward Trinia Green of Glouster; brothers, Dow Nancy Sanders of Trimble, Richard Sally Sanders of Glouster and Chester Rita Sanders of Malta and a sister-in-law, Laverne Sanders.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Green and brothers, Ralph and Jack Sanders.

Graveside services will be held 2 P.M., Friday, January 8, 2010 at Hilltop Cemetery in Millfield with Pastor Deanna White officiating. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster.

Opal will welcome visits from family and friends at her home in the coming weeks.
