Wavalene M. Rutter

Wavalene M. Rutter, 89, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Logan Health Care Center in Logan. She was born December 21, 1920, in Hocking County, daughter of the late William P. and Helen M Bownes Helber. Wavalene was the widow of the late Pearl Rutter.

She retired from Sylvania in Kentucky and was an avid bowler.

Wavalene is survived by a sister, Edith E. Clarence Jr. Fuller of Logan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bob, Clarence, Carl and Dutch Helber; a sister, Nellie Amnah; a half sister, Elizabeth Roop and a half brother, Edward Helber.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, January 8, 2010 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Ricci Arthur officiating. Entombment will be in Fairview Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
