Romona S. Cochran

Romona S. Cochran, 55, of Langsville, passed away following a short illness, Monday, January 11, 2010 at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. She was born July 2, 1954 in McArthur, daughter of Charles and Loretta ""Susie"" Patton Kirkendall of Hamden. Romona was married to Dale Cochran, who survives.

She worked at Walmart in Gallipolis and was a member of Hamden United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by three sons, Brad Swackhammer of Westerville, Brian Heather Swackhammer of Sunbury and Nathan Swackhammer of Westerville; four grandchildren; two brothers, Randy Kirkendall of Johnstown and Dennis Linda Kirkendall of Marion and a sister, Tracy Robert Sage of Galena.

A memorial service will be held 4 P.M., Friday, January 15, 2009 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 2 P.M until the time of the service.
