Dale E. Steenrod

Dale E. Steenrod, 55, of Nelsonville, passed away at his residence. He was born April 25, 1954 in Nelsonville, son of the late John S. and Helen Cook Steenrod. Dale was married to Debby Tolliver Steenrod, who survives.

He was a member of the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church.

In addition to his wife, Dale is survived by sons, Douglas Foster, Derek John Crissy, Damen Christopher; a daughter, Pamela Danielle Nicole; grandchildren, Mallori Jordan Danielle, Jacob Spencer and Hayden Isaac and brothers, Robert Kathy Steenrod of Athens, Thomas Becky Steenrod of Nelsonville and Richard Jaime Steenrod of Sugar Grove.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Beckey Steenrod.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, January 22, 2010 in the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church, Chestnut and Harper Streets, Nelsonville, with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the church on Friday, from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
