Ralph E. Mason

Ralph E. Mason 89 of McArthur passed away March 19, 2010 at Huston's Nursing Home, Hamden. Ralph was born October 31, 1920 in Athens County, son of the late Emmett and Velma Ashbaugh Mason, and he was the widow of the late Gladyse Thompson Mason.

Ralph retired from Austin Powder Co., was a WW II Army Veteran and a member of the First Christian Church in McArthur.

He is survived by sons Richard Mason, Robert D. Mason, and Brent Terra Mason all of McArthur, daughters JoAnn Marvin Partee of McArthur, Helen Bill Lykins of Jackson, Bonnie Don Newsom of Wilksville, and Debbie Boyer of Candler, North Carolina, 8 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and a special niece Mary Emma Keith Manering of Londonderry.

In addition to his parents and wife Ralph was preceded in death by 2 brothers Floyd and Earl Mason.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home 201 W. High St. McArthur, Ohio with Pastor Ronald Baxter officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 3-8PM.

Military Graveside Services will be conducted by McArthur Post #5299.
