Mabel Irene Scott

Mabel Irene Scott, 98, of Londonderry, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born June 19, 1911 in Vinton County, daughter of the late William and Anna Graves Ratcliff. Mabel was the widow of the late Howard Scott.

She is survived by her sons, Howard Scott Jr. of Waverly, Neil Cindy Scott of Londonderry, Harold Nola Kay Scott of Tennessee, Curtis Nola Scott of Chillicothe, Jerry Linda Scott of Akron, Michael Scott of Londonderry and Ralph Scott of Londonderry; daughters, Betty Dixon of Florida, Margery Atwood of Arizona and Ann E. Robert Molihan of North Carolina; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, March 26, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim McFadden officiating. Interment will be in Londonderry Cemetery, Londonderry. No calling hours will be observed.
