Clyde M. Mcdowell

Clyde M. McDowell, 72, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home, The Plains. He was born January 23, 1938, in Boons Camp, Kentucky, son of the late Mitchel and Frances Mollitt McDowell.

Clyde was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a retired Security Guard with Smith Security.

He is survived by a son, Craig Paula McDowell of Laurens, SC; a granddaughter, Helen McDowell; dearly loved girlfriend, Reta Davies and special friend Wesley Burgett both of Nelsonville.

In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by a brother, Charles McDowell.

According to Mr. McDowell's wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services observed. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville
