Barbara Lou Hopkins

Barbara Lou Hopkins, 71, of Columbus, formerly of Chauncey, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010 at her daughters' residence in Columbus. She was born August 29, 1938 in The Plains, daughter of the late Robert E. and Grace Frazee Hoskins. Barbara was the widow of the late Otto Hopkins.

She is survived by sons, William Mary Hopkins and Christopher Hopkins both of Columbus; daughters, Rhonda S. Beckette and Pamela L. Hopkins both of Columbus; thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Ted Frazee of Chauncey and Robert Hoskins of Racine and one sisters, Sharon Baker of Racine.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Larry and Tom Hoskins and one sister, Betty Writesel.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday April 2, 2010 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Gary Alton officiating. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 4-6 P.M.
