Donald E. Stobart

Donald E. Stobart, 57, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 at his residence. He was born November 3, 1952 in Athens County, son of the late Clair and Thelma Dunfee Stobart. Donald was married for 36 years to Karen Cagg Stobart, who survives.

He is survived by daughters, April Ryan Gillette of Nelsonville, Tonya Randall Rose Stobart of Nelsonville and Valerie Craig Dickerson of New Marshfield; grandchildren, Christopher and Hayley Gillette, Tyler Rose and Dalton Dickerson; brothers, Clair Dee Stobart of New Marshfield, Martin Ae Stobart of Indiana, Rick Peg Stobart of Amesville, Paul Teresa Stobart of Millfield and John Brenda Stobart of Glouster; sisters, Donna Matheny of Coolville, Nancy Bellar of Athens, Wanda Burchfield of Millfield, Roberta Lenley of West Virginia, Mary Ralph Barnhouse of Coolville and Paula Faddis of Lancaster and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a sister, Freda Stobart and uncle, Donnie Stobart.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, April 9, 2010 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. David Cogar officiating. Interment will be in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
