John W. Wilson

John W. Wilson 88 of Logan passed away April 21, 2010 in Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. He was born March 1, 1922 in Perry County, son of the late Oscar F. and Blanche Marlowe Wilson. John was married to Helen Griggs Wilson who survives.

John retired as a Foreman from National Supply-Armco in Logan, he was a member of Immanuel U.M. Church, a member of Mingo Lodge #171 F&AM, a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus, and was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his loving family including Don and Kate Taylor, Carol and Robert Henderson, Eloise Mundy, and a host of great nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy Taylor and Irene Leffler, and a brother Albert ""Abe"" Wilson.

Funeral Services will held at 10:30AM Monday in the Immanuel U.M. Church with Rev. Gerald Frazee officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, Ohio on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8PM. Masonic Services will be conducted at 7:30PM Sunday at the funeral home. Military Graveside Services will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard.

The family suggests contributions be made to the Immanuel U.M. Church 66 E. Hunter St. Logan, Ohio 43138 or the Building Fund at Ebenezer Baptist Church 7094 Twp. Rd. 234 S.W. Logan Ohio 43138.
