Glendon ""Glenn"" O. Wiseman, 88, of Hamden, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born December 3, 1921, in Oreton, Ohio, son of the late Pearl and Elizabeth Beebe Wiseman. Glenn was married to Betty Jean Prevento Wiseman, who survives.
He was a retired truck driver, a WWII Army Veteran, a member of Truth Church in Hamden and a member of the VFW and American Legion in Crestline.
In addition to his wife, Glenn is survived by sons, Michael Wiseman of Welch, West Virginia, Keith Buffy Wiseman of Jackson and Charles Wiseman of Princeton, West Virginia; daughters, Kathy Randy Motsch of Bassett, Virginia and Sheila Michael Williams of Stewart, Virginia; a stepson, Robert Linda Prevento of Bassett, Virginia; eleven grandchildren; six step grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Ramond Wiseman and Donald Wiseman both of Hamden; sisters, Elvetta Eberts of Hamden, Frances Eberts of hamden, Nellie Eberts of Hamden and Irene Walton of Logan and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ottie, Floyd and Frank Wiseman.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, May 6, 2010 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Brother Jim Eberts officiating. Interment will be 2:30 P.M., Thursday, in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 5-8 P.M.
